NEXSW Tour 2023: Brattleboro to Burlington and beyond

Tour recap: June 18, 2023

We started our day with egg sandwiches at The Works Cafe in Brattleboro. This picture went out to one of our kind tour sponsors:

We were less wide awake than we looked, I think. We refilled our coffees for the road, and headed up to Burlington, about 2.5 or 3 hours away. We had a Sunday "brunch" gig at Foam Brewers, starting at 1 pm.

This was one of few gigs where the venue had someone on staff to run sound for us. Sadly I can no longer remember his name, but he did a great job!

After the gig, mid-afternoon, we enjoyed a charcuterie board and drinks, then went out for a walk on the greenway along Lake Champlain, just a few steps from Foam Brewers. Despite the clouds, you could see the Adirondack Mountains on the far side of the lake, in New York State.

After that we drove about an hour to get to our rental cabin in Hyde Park, VT, where we would be staying for the next two nights. 

After getting settled in, we went for an evening walk along the quiet country road, to take in the sunset. So peaceful here.
